Delivery Policy

DevSource provides development services, not physical or off-the-shelf digital products. Nothing is shipped — completed work is delivered remotely.

1. No physical shipping

DevSource sells custom software development services. There is no physical product, no packaging and no courier delivery. All work is carried out and delivered remotely.

2. What is delivered

Depending on what was agreed for your project, delivery may include:

  • the compiled application and, where relevant, an installer;
  • the source code and project files;
  • setup, configuration or usage notes;
  • any deliverable specifically listed in the agreed scope.

3. How delivery happens

Completed work is delivered by a secure digital method agreed with you in advance — for example a private download link, a repository you control, or a secure file transfer. Where a project is delivered in milestones, each milestone is handed over as it is completed. We notify you as soon as the project or an agreed milestone is ready for review.

4. Timelines

Delivery time depends entirely on the scope and complexity of the project. There is no standard delivery period for custom development.

An estimated delivery date, or a milestone schedule for larger projects, is agreed with you in writing before development starts. Estimates are given in good faith based on the scope known at that time.

5. Causes of delay

An agreed date may move for reasons outside our control. The most common are:

  • Changes to requirements — new or altered features requested after the scope was agreed.
  • Missing information or access — awaited sample data, credentials, accounts or test environments.
  • Third-party services — API changes, outages, approval processes or rate limits imposed by external platforms.
  • Client-side delays — waiting on review, feedback, approval or a milestone payment.
  • Events beyond reasonable control — illness, infrastructure failure or similar.

If a delay arises we tell you as soon as we are aware of it, explain the cause, and agree a revised date with you.

6. After delivery

Delivered work is reviewed and accepted as described in our Terms of Service. Defects reported during the agreed acceptance period are corrected at no extra cost. Support and maintenance beyond that period can be arranged separately.
